Focusing on ONE Cruise Line

As professional travel agents, we have made it a point to personally cruise with as many different lines as we can.  We still have a number to try out and slow but sure, we’ll get there. By sailing with various lines, it has helped us match a specific line with the destination, itinerary, food and activity preferences of our clients.  We are also able to answer our clients’ questions from our own first-hand experiences.

Do we have favorites? 

You bet we do!  And THAT is what I want to write about.  Harshman Travel has made it a point to book several “group package” cruises into the future.  By doing so, we can offer our clients lower rates (that are locked in) in addition to a variety of special amenities. Most of our group bookings are with the same cruise line.  We have done this for a very good reason.  Our repeat cruisers are also able to take advantage of the extra perks that the cruise line offers through their specific loyalty program.

We have found that most of the cruise lines DO offer various perks to their repeat cruisers.  However, we have seen how those perks can vary cruise line to cruise line.  So, in our quest to sail with the various vendors, we have determined which one we believe is the best all around cruise supplier both for us and for the majority of our clients.

As you can see, we have several group-rate cruise packages.  As our repeat cruisers sail with us, they will be earning more loyalty points and additional perks (on top of our group perks) from the cruise line. 

So, in summary, we attempt to give our clients as much value as we can when it comes to cruising.  Whether it’s from our group offerings, personal service and special perks or additional benefits from the cruise line itself, we aim to please.
