Are you traveling with kids?

If you are traveling with kids, there are a large number of resorts that are designed for entertaining families or groups.  Almost all of these resorts will have programming designed for different age groups.  Children of all ages will most likely have fun activities to help create memorable vacations for them.

Whether you are planning a cruise or a land-based vacation, we have a number of travel providers available.  They offer both educational and fun activities that your children will fondly remember for the rest of their lives.  There are theme parks filled with exciting rides, exotic animals, unfamiliar marine life and familiar imaginary characters.  Some are full of educational adventures, audio-visual extravaganzas and so much more.  Most of the cruises and resorts make sure that, while children are being entertained, parents can enjoy their own activities.

Most Americans are familiar with the various Disney® properties, Busch Gardens®, Sea World®, Legoland®, Lion Country Safari® and Universal Studios®.  Exotic vacation spots like the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Cancun, Hawaii and Europe also have child-oriented attraction parks and facilities.

Prior to booking any family-oriented vacation, there are several things that you will want to consider.

Are there usually any restrictions on activities that my children might want to join in?  Almost all resorts have age limitations on their different programmed activities.  Usually, children 3-11 have different program options than teens from 12-17.  Many of the rides could have a minimum age.  The ride could also require a certain weight and/or height for kids. Many of the children-oriented programs are only available during specified hours.

What if my youngest children are under the age of 3?  Many resorts and some theme parks offer special accommodations for infants and toddlers.  There may be supervised babysitting or the program might be designed to have parent and infant together in the activities.  

**Note: Please be aware that international travel requires valid passports for each individual traveler, regardless of age.  There are also specific requirements for children traveling internationally with only one parent.  Once again, we will be able to inform and assist you regarding these legal requirements.
